We flew into Helsinki on the long flight from Changi, arriving at 0615 local, or 1115 Perth, meaning we'd been in transit for over 24 hours.
We managed to find our hotel, and then went down for a second breakfast. After that, we did a little exploring, and found a great cafe near the harbour for a light lunch. We also managed to find some for our phones, and stamps for postcards.
We've seen black-backed gulls (huge!), White swans, and a whole lot more other birdlife. And more architecture than you can poke a stick at!
We've run off a bunch of postcards, and they'll go tomorrow morning.
It is now 20 past 9, and you'd think it was 3pm!
We're off to Tampere at 2pm tomorrow, and we get to spend long sought there to properly unpack.
