Meteor appears to have broken up over Russia, scaring the beejesus out of just about everybody. Also, there are reports of injuries from windows shattered, probably from sonic boom. Philip Plait notes on twitter that it is most likely NOT related to 2012 DA14, which is still several hours away and on a different orbit. The Earth gets showered with tons of space debris EVERY day, so this is likely a coincidence.
