#fivedayquest  - Day 5 - Finishing up.  The second day of the #PerthDiscGolfOpen2014  saw a third round for all players, followed by a final 9 holes for the top ranked Men's Open division.  Here, Alicia Smith tees off on hole 15 "Isla de la Muerte" at the Pine Lines course in Gidgegannup as a part of the Women's final round. This unusual hole has a two-metre wide out-of-bounds "moat" around an inner safe zone. Very tricky... And this finishes up my challenge, set by Sian Ridden. Thanks for inviting me to take part!

#fivedayquest - Day 4: Player's Briefing. The morning briefing for the players (over 50 of us) at the #PerthDiscGolfOpen2014 . The usual warnings about out-of-bounds, particular course rules, and safe play when your disc lands in a 3 metre high pile of sticks... And a weather warning that it could get wet later... And did it ever! Torrential rain started about 1/3 of the way through the afternoon round, and did not stop until after midnight.

#fivedayquest Day 3. Preparing for the Open - Part 2 - Supplies! Food for two for a long weekend, plus stove and billy. As a coeliac, I have to be especially careful of my food supplies, and so I'm packing a full set of meals for Alicia Smith and I, just in case the tournament can't supply us suitable meals. #fivedayquest Day 2. Preparing for the Open. Re-packing my large disc bag with my best understood discs, ready for the Perth Disc Golf Open this weekend.
