Yesterday Alicia Smith​, Roslyn Smith​, and I got up in the wee small hours, and made our way out to Perth Airport - T1 International Terminal​ to watch the Antonov Airlines​ AN225 fly in.

    I remember going to the airshow in avalon many years ago and an antinov plane was there.. that was only the 124..
    (just discovered it was in 1992)

    We were allowed to do a walk through it on the tarmac, bloody enormous , yet, compared to this one you saw, small.

    Thanks - while I did not see any Fokkers that morning, I understand there were a few of them on the road...

    I've seen the 124s fly in and out a couple of times, with our office more-or-less in direct line with the main runway, but yeah, this beauty was immense.
