The Peel/Harvey system is one of the most popular recreational bodies of water in the South-West of Australia. Comprised of the Harvey Estuary, the Peel Inlet, the Mandurah Estuary, and the Murray Delta, it is the place for fishing, crabbing, prawning, swimming, sailing, kayaking, and, yes, water-skiing.

It is also a RAMSAR site, and the summer stopover for many thousands of Siberian wading birds.q
