Rob Masters this wasn't what I was looking for, but it does show how close to the edge these guys sail. The balance between riding high and eliminating the drag of the hull in the water, and beaking the surface and losing lift on the foil is very fine. There's a controlling wand at the bow which reacts to ride height, but in waves it can be ineffective. youtube.com - 2015 MOTH WORLDS showreel.
Look up a YouTube channel "Banging the Corners" for more videos, or also look up Beau Outteridge - he's brother of London 2012 49er gold medallist Nathan. I think Nath won the worlds on his home turf Lake Macquarie / Wangi Sailing Club a few years back.
There's a trick the good guys do where they dangle their legs over the side and pretend to run on the water.
We had the Nats over here earlier this year - Andrew Muhling can probably spill the beans on that a bit. Meantime, here's the official video: https://vimeo.com/151879286

Churchill Rd Raclette - Delendale Creamery For this one I have one clear instruction before we begin. Pick up the cheese, step away from the cheese-board, and get thee to the kitchen. This is a cheese that needs - possibly even demands - some heat. Now I know the kitchen is a bit of a foreign place for the cheese-lover - I mean what use is there of fry-pans or cook-pots? Bear with me though, this journey is worth it. Before we begin, I'm going to take you on a small flight of fancy. Imagine, if you will, that an honest English Cheddar decided to take a holiday on the Continent, and found itself in Switzerland. Maybe seeking some great waterfall to encounter a perilous foe, it instead meets a sweet and charming Emmental. Romance blossoms, the Cheddar settles - foe forgotten, and the two have a child. Roll forward a dozen years and a few more, and this is Raclette. The bitter-edged teenager child - probably miffed that Cheddar failed to find and defeat that foe. Raclette is a cheese...

Thanks for great look at the masters of the art! I certainly saw a lot of spills yesterday, including one needing a tow-back.
