This has to stop.

This has to stop.

And who has to stop it?

Us. Blokes.

Because it is up to us to change our attitudes, and to damn well grow up.

The only time it is the victim's fault is ... never. Which means that the only people to blame for violence against women are the perpetrators - and the rest of us who say (even unconsciously)  that it is in any way even partly the victims' fault.

So I say again, the only people who can stop this is us.

  1. Grrr. My reshare went back to the original from Tony Sidaway and dropped your most excellent commentary Rob Masters.

  2. Yes, you have to paste later commentry in. I've been caught by that a few times, too.

  3. There's nothing quite like an intuitive, logical UX Tony Sidaway.

And this is nothing like an intuitive, logical UX. :(

  4. Very true and thank you Rob for saying this. I have often told people that
men are often party to this even if they are not the ones actually doing
the abusing. when you smile and nod when another man tells how he took
advantage, when you turn the other way when they demean or threaten a
woman. Slowly, we are starting to see less of this and more men starting
    to stand up.

I think Emma Watson's speech at the UN was one of the best to cover the
    subject.
