A rather unusual contrail this morning over work - tracking from the South to the North, instead of the more usual Eastish-Westish track.

A bit of detective work on Flight Radar24 tracked it down to the Virgin Regional flight VA9223 - a Fokker F100 (VH-FZH) - from Busselton(BQB) to Boolgeeda(OCM) (it is near Tom Price).

It passed over us at 33000' doing 419knts.

Clearly there are enough Tom Price area FIFO workers in Busselton to make such a flight worthwhile!
