OK Interwebs, here's a bit of an off the wall question.

Is it possible for a member of the public to drive the circumference of the LHC?

That is, is there a publicly accessible ring road around the outside of the site?

Comments

  1. A quick Google Maps and Wikipedia search of the site says the answer to your question is no. There appears to be no road that follows the outline of the underground ring

  2. As a visitor you can't get to most of the site so there is no internal road accessible to you. Externally there are not many roads in that corner of Geneva.
