One thing that I think we can take away from the sporadic extremist attacks on London is that most extremists are really not very bright.
London is arguably the worst target in the world for a terror attack.
This is the city that rose to meet indiscriminate bombing by Zeppelins in WWI, the Luftwaffe in WWII, the IRA during the Troubles, and so on.
They wear these as proud badges of their ability to survive and carry on in spite of such events. In fact, it only builds their resolve.

When I saw the news I discounted it pretty quickly. Awful that people died but in the grand scheme of things it was just one person in a car. I think Londoners can hack it. Unfortunate that they have had to become that tough but they are nonetheless

ReplyDeleteThe lesson to everyone is don't marginalize secions of your cominity. Because random elements of that comunity will get thier shits on in a bad way a generation or two later.
