I find it constantly odd that the GSoA and the BSoA essentially have their roles reversed in Australia - where the Scouts are very progressive and inclusive, and the Guides are conservative...
Good on the GSoA and their CEO, and have a look at the crowdfunding campaign they've started to make up the shortfall:

That would certainly have put the Guides in a difficult position. That's more than a narrow mind (the former donor), it's nasty; to immediately jump to that thought. Also I would have thought that once donated, on the terms it was donated, it was the Guides' money free and clear. Just as if I give money to anyone on the street - don't often do that but now and then - I don't specify "oh, don't spend this on booze" because if I give it to them, it's theirs.
