Once I'd stopped laughing, and saluting the good Mr Scalzi, I realized there is a problem with his play.
Casting.
Oh, 99% of the cqst is no problem, but who do you cast as the ..errr... lead who is a) believable, and b) you could get the rest of cast agree to work with?
Sadly, I do not think I'm ever going to see this on stage.
OTOH, I can look forward to seeing it in real life, can't I? So that's something.
